Gurston G. Nyquist, MD
Gurston G. Nyquist, MD is a board certified Otolaryngologist with fellowship training in advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery from the Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan. He is the only fellowship trained sinus surgeon on long island.
Dr. Nyquist specializes in the medical and surgical management of nasal and sinus disease, removal of sinonasal and anterior skull base tumors, endoscopic repair of CSF (brain fluid) leaks, and endoscopic tear duct surgery (DCR) for watery eyes.
Dr. Nyquist serves as a national committee member for the American Rhinologic Society, is a founding member of the New York Rhinologic Society, and has numerous publications in the field of head and neck surgery. He regularly presents his research at national and international meetings; has been an invited guest speaker at institutions that include Yale University and Cornell University; and has lead surgical missions to underserved countries like the Philippines and Guatemala.
